No. Although its founder is an attorney-at-law, SynHedge LLC is not a law firm but a consultancy. Therefore, the activities carried out under SynHedge LLC are not covered by attorney-client privilege.
Our pricing is based on the value we bring to your business. Where possible, we offer flat fees to help you plan your costs with full transparency. When we work on an hourly basis, our rates are aligned with industry benchmarks. At SynHedge, we don’t compete by offering below-market prices. Instead, we provide fair rates that reflect the value we add to your business, the complexity of the project, our expertise, and our solutions-focused, efficient, and fast approach. If price is your only concern, SynHedge may not be the ideal partner for you. We believe that quality comes at a price. To accommodate your needs, we also offer payment plans in multiple installments and accept payments in crypto.

Yes, SynHedge connects clients with potential banks to open accounts with Swiss banks known for their crypto-friendliness. We have an extensive network in this area. In doing so however SynHedge does not act as a fiduciary.
Yes, it is indeed possible to incorporate a company in Switzerland using cryptocurrency. To do so, you'll need to transfer the crypto to a wallet and have an auditor verify that the wallet holds the required amount of crypto. The auditor will then issue a certificate, which serves the same purpose as a traditional bank confirmation for capital deposits. It's essential that the value of the crypto deposited in the wallet meets the minimum capital requirement in CHF.
Generally, incorporating a company in Switzerland is a fairly quick process, taking around 3 to 4 weeks. Once you’re ready with your company name and business purpose, you’ll need to open a capital payment account with a Swiss bank, which can vary in time depending on the bank and your industry. After that, drafting the articles of association and completing the foundational documents is relatively straightforward. Certain documents need to be legalized before submitting the application to the commercial register, which then takes about a week to review and publish the company.

In Switzerland, there is no formal "VASP license" regulated by FINMA. Most crypto players in the Swiss market operate with an SRO (Self-Regulatory Organization) membership, which allows them to act as financial intermediaries and provide a range of crypto-related services. Terms like “VASP license,” “Crypto license,” or “Swiss MSB” are essentially incorrect ways of referring to an SRO membership.

No. Choosing the right partner for each service is crucial. For example, during major M&A transactions or when drafting complex syndicate loan contracts, a prominent and renowned law firm will provide more experience and manpower. Conversely, for highly specialized activities that don’t require extensive resources, a more focused and hand-on service provider may be more appropriate. While SynHedge LLC engages in activities that overlap with those of law firms, it acts as a partner, focusing on areas they may not typically cover, particularly in business development. SynHedge also offers packages that can be delivered in collaboration with law firms, always prioritizing the client's needs.
SynHedge embodies a vision centered on synergy, negotiation, and collaboration among various service providers. Given the increasing complexity of law and technology, it’s crucial to work with specialized experts in their respective fields. At the same time, we adopt a risk-based approach, employing smart hedging to mitigate risks for our clients. Unlike traditional law firms, SynHedge offers a broader range of services, including business development and intermediary services, which is why our name does not include terms like "law," "legal," or "lex."
